President & CEO
Since Convex was founded as a professional congress organizer in 1976, we have been dedicated to organizing congresses and conventions of all kinds, both domestic and international. Our mission over these forty-odd years has always been to provide the best-possible opportunities, facilities, and experiences to convention attendees from all corners of the world.
The convention market continues to thrive despite the many difficulties it had faced during this period, including the bursting of Japan’s bubble economy, the Gulf War, the 2008 global financial crisis, the bursting of the internet bubble, the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the Covid-19 pandemic. We are convinced this is because there is a real need for people to gather together in person to meet and interact face-to-face.
Meanwhile, the global infrastructure has transformed immensely. Since the advent of IT in the 20th century, we have seen new technologies emerge one after another, including ICT, IoT, AI, and 5G. Today, the “Big Tech” companies are undoubtedly creating a new global infrastructure.
Given this rapidly changing environment, our aim has been to achieve service reformation and innovation through the use of cutting-edge technologies. In addition to these technologies, I wish to emphasize the importance of the wisdom and mental/physical strength stemming from the dedicated passion of those who utilize these new technologies because they are the most essential elements required in the convention business.
As a professional team, we at Convex will remain committed to providing the best-possible convention opportunities, facilities, and experiences for clients in all sectors.
